Nuote is the first manufacturer of Metaldehyde in China . Since there had not been a state or industrial standard to comply with, in May 1998, Nuote issued its own enterprise standard and brought it into effect. Due to the improvement of technics, the standard was reviewed and amended in 2003.

Determination of Metaldehyde, Paraldethyde, Acetaldehyde follows the methods of Transol ( Germany ) and Lonza ( Switzerland ) to determine contents of various constituents by Gas Chromatography. First, get sample according to the GB/T1605 ￡? and dissolve the sample of certain quantity with chloroform; second, separate them in the column box of GC. Then determine the efflux with Flame Ionization Detector,and calculate the integral of chromatographic peak with the integraph .The capillary chromatography has obvious separating effects on sample. Because the sample has high purity and low impurity and these oreign matters belong to compounds of the same series, on the whole they have the same characteristics of response in FID. Then work out the contents of the above constituents with the acreage normalization.
